Revolving Center
Revolving Centers, also known as Live Centers, are used in lathe machines to support the workpiece at the tailstock end during high-speed operations. Unlike dead centers, revolving centers have a bearing-mounted tip that rotates with the workpiece, reducing friction and heat generation. They are ideal for supporting long, heavy, or delicate parts, ensuring smooth rotation, precise alignment, and reduced wear on the center tip. Made from high-grade, hardened steel with precision bearings, revolving centers offer durability, accuracy, and long service life. Widely used in turning, grinding, and CNC applications for high-performance machining.
